Re: help! sciatic pain?

Are you doing some of the anxiety exercises? Things like "being in the now", talking to yourself...

Example: My hands are on the table. The table is wood. The table is warm. My feet are on the carpet. The carpet is beige. It is tickling my toes. There is no <insert source of anxiety> here. There is only the table and the carpet.

Keep it focused on what is in your immediate vicinity; what you can experience with your senses. Go over everything you are experiencing.

Then, grab a cup of herbal tea and cookie. Relax for a moment. Give yourself that moment to not let anything bother you. Nothing.

Remember to breathe but not deep breaths. You want an even in and out pattern. You could use music to help you achieve that pattern if you need to.

And, we are always here for you to vent to if it gets too bad and you need to unload.

So I have been feeling pretty good...he basically told me that I am fine, and they won't let anything happen to me. Which was nice. So I have been feeling pretty good, hardly thinking about numbers at all..until the other day, walking around in Lowes, I had a funny little twinge behind my right breast. Sort of near the sternum. Sort of a twingey feeling. It lasted less than a minute, came back just a couple times later on, then has been gone for several days. Then, laying in bed I had a twingey feeling under my other breast, so of course I instantly go into panic mode. I don't think it is a heart attack sort of thing, as I am breathing fine, no pain, no symptoms like a heart attack, and the twinge went away quickly. Let's hope. I just want relief from the fearful feelings. I took a couple Tums, maybe I ate too much pizza or something. I would think if it was a heart attack it would stick around, and not just show up when I was thinking about it or laying it bed. Tell me I'm right! lol
Hi, i hope everything is well with you. I cant help but look into posts like yours bec I had the same pain from hip to groin and calf. I was told muscle strain. It went away and then I had the breast pain too but only on the left and was told its nerves. I too went to dr google and read that breast pain is a symptom of memopause. Now I need to find out whats causing my itchy skin....

Re: help! sciatic pain?

?? are the spots from your scratching or were they what caused the itching to start with? Maybe it isn't formication.

the only thing I've heard that helps formication is estrogen or SSRI-type anti depressants.
