Hello everyone....I am post op. Hurray!! The waiting is the worst. Once they take you to surgery it flies by and then you're in recovery. Had my surgery on the 23rd jan and spent 2 nights in the hospital. First night I couldn't sleep at all ...I don't know if it was an anxiety attack or the morphin reacting with the anesthetic. Very strange feeling Am relieved it is all over......pain is not too bad, and am getting around very well. Had TVH with no complications. I had stockings and pumps on my legs to prevent blood clots...very comforting to know that area ws taken care of. I had also heard horror stories about the packing that is used after a vaginal. When they remove it ..the pain is like giving birth. My Dr. didin't use it all , so I was very relieved. Anyone know about this. ?

Am on Cenestin...I would love to hear of anyone else that takes this. So far so good. Am still having bowel concerns ...not back to normal yet. Am eating prunes and drinking lots of cranberry juice for any bladder issues. I really am on the mend and glad it's all behind me. I love this site and enjoy reading all your stories.
Rock on sister friends.....I look forward to hearing from you
Best wishes
Lynnda
