facial hair growth!!!

Hi V,
I am sorry you are having to deal with this. I have been there my dear and had to have my upper lip waxed....OUCH! Usually it is high testosterone or low estrogen. I do think that mine is getting better since I started progesterone. It sounds to me like you need a doctor who is more educated in the world of HRT.
If you want to find a doctor who is knowledgable about hormones I would suggest finding a compounding pharmacist first http://www.iacprx.org/ A compounding pharmacist is skilled at making made to order hormone preparations for women and will know the doctors in your area that are experts in prescribing them.

facial hair growth!!!

I was wondering the same thing, except Im not on any HRT. Ive had a TAH/LSO and since the surgery on 10/10/01 I have to wax my eyebrows and mustache area at least every 3 weeks. Before the surgery I could go about 1 1/2 months. Is this a bad sign??? I started using vagifem, but I know that only helps in "THAT" area! I would like some answers too! Thanks!

Mary,
I could be a temporary thing for you. You might want to do some investigating to see how your cycle is working http://www.hormonejungle.com/work.php If it seems like you are ovulating I think I would still mention this to the doctor. If you are feeling fine otherwise I know there is a medication that is supposed to slow the growth. It is a cream.
Best wishes
