Question: Prior Stretch Marks...

Hello Sisters...

I am exactly two weeks out, and I have been noticing something weird. I have stretch marks from my first pregnancy on my lower abdomen, and all of them were faded since he is now 6 going on 7 (had complete bed rest and gained way too much weight first time, but 2nd and 3rd pregnancy they did not redden again) anyway, I have one stretch mark that is located at the very end right side of my incision. It is swollen and irritated looking?? As I said, all others are fine...does anyone else have this problem?? If so, any idea how to deal with it, is there anything that I can do?

Thanks!!!

Kim

Question: Prior Stretch Marks...

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have one that is red and feels weird. The others got red and the skin peeled around them at about 4 weeks post op. At almost 10 weeks post op they are still pinker than normal but they really dont bother me. I guess in time they will look normal again. I have not asked the dr about them as they arent too bothersome compared to all the other ailments!! Good luck, Ann

Question: Prior Stretch Marks...

Yep, I found that the faded stretch marks were once again very noticeable after my hyst. I didn't have an incision, but, still, I noticed them. They were swollen and VERY obvious.

This probably was due to the swelly belly and to the stretched belly from Pre-Op. I'm now over a year post-op and the swelling is gone. And I'm noticing that the stretch marks are fading once again.
