Re: Things to look forward too.

Hubby has been doing laundry and changing sheets since surgery. Yup new sheets and mattress pad. I always had the bed made before he could see the stains.

Re: Things to look forward too.

No more pantyliners for bladder leakage.

Although I didn't need repairs at the time of my sah apparently my uterus and fibroids were resting on the bladder not allowing me to hold a sip of water. I didn't any liners on hand this week and decided to be bold, and there were no problems!!!!

Re: Things to look forward too.

I will not miss rolling in bed in pain for 3 days every 3 weeks and sitting on the toilet floor next to the toilet bowl and vomiting every 2 hours for at least 24 hrs.

Love being able to laugh spontaneously without fear because you know if you do blood will be trickling down your leg from the gush just because someone said a joke!!

Driving in the summer and not worrying about the smell of the pad your wearing or the 3 you have already changed on the road trip that are in a baggie in the back because you did not want to put it down the camp toilet.

Re: Things to look forward too.

Going camping pad free!!! OMG I can't wait to just "go camping" with out having to worry about if my period will strike at the exact moment we get to our spot! We camp in a tent and the thoughts of a bear attacking us in the middle of the night because of my period was not good! lol

And I am sooooo looking foreword to buying new sheets and new undies!!!

No more taking an extra pair of underwear and a baggie (for the soiled ones)when going out in case of over flow! lol I just recently started taking the empty baggie with me too - think of all the undies I threw out in restaurant and mall garbage cans over the years!
Ahhhh to be freeeee!!
