Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

I can see an Ivy league school with the amount of money saved not buying pads and rampons

Things to look forward too.

No more dreading 'that time of the month'
No more being afraid to stand up
No more embarrassing "accidents" at work
No more ruining pajamas, underwear and clothes

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

Looking forward to NO PAIN! No back pain. No leg pain. Playing and being goofy with my teenagers. Being able to just drive without pain. Sex without pain. Being able to cough and have no pain.

This thread is beautiful! Empowering! Thanks so much for this! Good luck everyone!

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

I'm already done with all of the above! But I do have a couple to add.

No more ER trips

No more blood transfusions

No more DH cleaning up the blood trail

New carpeting

Going out any time I please

Spending time on the boat

Swimming in the ocean without the fear of a shark attack

It's a wonderful life now and will be for all of you too. And yes, I feel sexier then I ever have!

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

What a fantastic thread!

I'm also looking forward to one-size-fits-all-month clothing (Adenomyosis induced bloating)
Wearing any colour clothing
Being able to exercise all month round rather than 2 weeks in 4
Holidays at any time of the month
Swimming at any time of the month
Hopefully no more PMT (hope not extended to all month long by hormones!) including sore boobs, bloating, tearfulness, moodiness, negative thinking.
No more agonising pain 1-2 weeks in 4

....and I'm sure there will be more when I am in a more positive frame of mind after my op on Tuesday

Sans, we are entering the castle at the same time! ...and like you, I'm figuring more will come to mind after it's all over.
