2 weeks and waiting, waiting, waiting.....

Hello sisters, I have been on this site for about 2 weeks now and have found all of the info here so helpful. Whenever I get overwhelmed with the prospect of my surgery (TVH, 2/19) I just tune in here for moral support. (This, by the way, is my first post) I, too, am feeling the fear of my decision. Had 3 kiddoes, am now an empty nester and have had loads of trouble for about 4 years, the last year being the worst yet. Diagnosis is 3 month size uterus full of fibroids, i am so over heavy bleeding and the accidents too (worst one being an accident on my friend's white sofa!!!!!!) DH is very supportive, thankfully. One question I have is that the plan is to remove uterus only at this point, I haven't had pre-op with Dr. yet. While in for sonogram, the tech detected something in left ovary. Dr hasn't mentioned this. Do I ? You know how the techs aren't supposed to divulge info..... Anyone get hormonal migraines? Is there improvement post op with these? I am usually a quick healer, but am dreading the anesthesia. Not sure if I get the epidural or full sleep. I always get very ill after general anesthesia (barfing and all) I suppose Dr. will enlighten me at pre-op. Looking forward to getting responses. Thanks for the support
