Just Had my Lap...

Hi Ladies!

Just wanted to drop a few lines as it is 3:00am and cannot sleep...

Had my laparoscopy at 10:30 this morning..My wonderful dr. came after and told DH, my mommy and I that he burned off a lot of endomitriosis, burned off TONS of scar tissue ..all of this will probably come back...but my biggest problem- the cause of most of my pain- was I had varicose veins all over my uterus!!!!! and the only way to get rid of this was, of course, a hyst!!!!!

It was so nice to be able to finally put a face on all the problems I was having! ANd I have lots-o pictures! Also glad to know it wasn't all in my head....although I knew it couldn't be, I was still a little nervous about it.

I am so ready to end all of this pain!! I go back for a recheck in 2 weeks and we will set it up from there...I hope to be able to do it mid-march, so I can do a little Harley riding this summer!

Also, has anyone else had this varicose vein problem??
Dr. explained somewhat but I was dopey, so he said he would get into it more at my next appt.

I want to thank everyone here for all the support and the tons of questions I have asked over the last month and a half.....you all are a god send!!!!!

Gina

Gina, I wish you all the best. I am hoping that your hyst will be the end of your problems.
