pelvic pressure

Hi guys-I am almost 5 weeks from TAH/BSO. I was having a great recovery until I got a bladder infection a couple of weeks ago-I just finished all my antibiotics yesterday, and I swear, it is back again- I have so much pelvic pressure- I feel like I did when I was at the end of my pregnancy! It feels like there is a grapefruit ready to fall out of there! The only thing I can think of is that it would be my bladder again. So many of you awesome girls can't wait for the 6 week point so they can get back to normal with their hubbies, but I can't even think of having sex!!! I am just hoping that maybe this pressure is normal- have any of you experienced it? I just keep wondering when I'm going to feel good again. At my 2 week appt, I was asking my Dr. when I could start excercising again, and he said, you'll beback at full activity level at 6 weeks. AHHH!!!! I can't even imagine running around and doing aerobics and stuff like nothing ever happened. I hope one day I'm going to wake up and feel great. Any of your input, as usual, is treasured.

Lots of Pressure here too

Hi vegasgirl:

I am 14 days post op today and I have had major pressure since I got home from the castle. I have often felt that I have a bladder infection as well, but then the pressure isn't a constant but seems to get worse as the day goes on.

As for the excercise, I just can't wait until I can go for my walk without feeling like somethings going to fall out - I always seem to be handing on to stomach for dear life and am also anxious for the time when I can pick up speed a bit.

Keep us informed of what the says about this.

I'm so sorry you've been having such a rough time of it

My TVH was over a year ago but I do not remember feeling anything like what you describe. Since it does feel like your bladder is acting up again --- only you would know what it felt like --- I think that your best strategy is to give your doctor a call.

Sending healing s your way. Please keep us posted on your progress.
