To the LIW out there

All us ladies post-op know what you are going through, even though you have heard/read it before the waiting is the hardest part.
Most of us were scare and had so many questions just like all of you. I know I go to post-op and then here, and answer questions and yes I still ask questions. As we all know this is the best site for getting your questions answered.
I am 9 week post-op and love to share what I know if to help others out. I have had a great recovery, couldnt have asked for a better one. I am also a plus size lady, well there is more of me to love. I also suffer from blood clots, and have been taking blood thinners for 7 years now, that was a major worry for me going into this surgery. There are other health problems as well but I wont go into that.
There are the big worries, will my love life be the same after the surgery. Well ladies it is different for all of us, but for me it is even better. I dont have to worry about break through bleeding, nothing spoils it more then having to change sheet afterwards. I did ask DH if he through it felt any different to him, all he said was not really, just the muscles were a little less firm. Well that has changed as I have been doing my pelvic floor workout. No more comments.
All I can say ladies is that if you are having this surgery there is a reason. You will think sometimes that I dont really need this surgery, that I can live with it. I thought that so I put it off for 12 months, and now I wish I had have done it last year (2000). I think we all have one last period which reminds most of us why we are going through with the surgery.

Ok I better stop now or it will be really big (giggle). But to the LIW hang in there, you will come through this a strong woman.

Thinking of you all
Big Hugs
