Toner and wet wipes for the Castle stay

I almost forgot- I took rosewater toner, cotton balls and a package of flushable wet-wipes with me to the hospital- it was lovely to be able to freshen up a little and dispell some of the antiseptic smell post-op.

I use the wipes intended for the bathroom because they are softer, have less perfume and such and are less astringent (not to mention cheaper and more environmentally friendly) than those intended for facial use.

I took a lot with me that turned out to be pointless (Yeah, I was not doing crossword puzzles when I couldn't figure out a three letter word for "Fedora") and reading was sort of pointless when I was too knocked out on pain meds and lingering anesthesia to focus for more than a paragraph or two but the means to take a little birdbath- priceless!
