HELP - severe leg pain

Tinasquilts: How do they know what kind of tumor you have?

I've just been diagnosed with endometriosis.

Gee, look what I have to look forward to.

Just make *absolutely* sure that you are not experiencing some kind of blood clot (deep vein thrombosis.) See you doc sooner rather than later. marion

leg pain

I was just scanning through and saw your posting on leg pain I'm glad to see its not just in my head. Mine started in october and in november my surgeon said i could go on the pill or have my hyst. Having been through 2 surgeries for endo and losing my grandma this summer to ovarian cancer figured I'd just go for it . I had been working out everyday doing sit-ups and abs and my back was hurting more and more any hiking or walking was fine for the first hour and then my leg would hurt. I've been doing a bit of yoga I think it's the childs pose ??? what ever its called seems to help a little bit but my surgery is in a couple of days and i'm really looking forward to no more back pain . I'll let you know if it goes away.

leg pain

e.j.
How did your appointment go? Did you find out any thing concerning your leg pain? Wouldn't it be wonderful if surgery would relieve it? I'll check back later.

Leg update

Saw my Dr. yesterday -GP not the surgeon. He is of the opinion that the cysts/fibroids are pushing on the nerves and ligaments.Massage seems to help but advil etc. have little or no effect.Should clear up following surgery. Will let you know after my visit to the castle on Wednesday. Thanks to everyone who responded.

It happened to me also

Just thought I would reply as I too have been through this. I had backache for at least four years, every day. When I had my periods for at least 3 days it would be chronic lower back pain and my left leg had started going numb as well.

I am now 9 weeks post op and I have had NO backpain or numb leg since surgery. I just feel so well. With all the space junk removed the pain is gone. I also have asthma, and now that everything else is not all pushed up, my breathing does not seem quite as bad either.

To all the preop ladies, all my best wishes for your upcoming surgery.

Regards
