TAH including ovaries and PMS Symptoms

Has anyone experienced this problem? I have migranes, breast swelling, bloating, food cravings, dry skin patches and insomnia, (all formmer PMS symptoms). I am on HRT (patch) but am confused and depressed that I am having these symptoms even after the surgery. I have not been eating execessively, yet seem continuously bloated all over (besides the swelly belly).

Can anyone shed some light on this as I want to discontinue the HRT if it is going to make me feel as bad as my former PMS symptoms. I know it has only been 4 weeks but I am discouraged with these symptoms.

I called the doctor and hus nurse told me to stay on the hrt and see a neurologist for the headaches.

I am thoroughly confused. Wasn't I supposed to feel better after the surgery?

Working hard at recovery....

Any help would be appreciated...

You should go post this over at the hormone jungle site. Those ladies know alot over there. But it sounds to me from some of the things I've read that you don't have the correct dosage of hrt, and maybe you could use some progesterone for the headaches and stuff, but the hormone jungle would tell you alot more than I can.
