Can Gyno Pain Cause Bladder/Urethral Sensitivity?

Hi Everyone,

Since my pain/cramping started mid-November, I was okay with bladder/urethral irritation. Then as the pain continued right around when I should be getting a period, but had more pain and cramping (scar tissue blocking blood flow). In January, mid-month right around when I should be getting a flow, I had really bad bladder sensitivity and urethral irritation. I do have a history of Interstitial Cystitis, but in remission for the last 10+ years until January. I'm hoping after surgery, the bladder/urethral irritation goes away!

Re: Can Gyno Pain Cause Bladder/Urethral Sensitivity?

I had my LAVH Dc 27th and had had a Lot of bladder pains before my surgery. So much to the fact I was planning on making an appt with a Uro dr to be checked for IC. Thank God after my surgery it's gotten soo much better. I did have bladder and urthera pains after surgery but my Dr explained that during the surgery your bladder gets man handled and moved around. I really Really hope that yours gets better after your surgery!

Re: Can Gyno Pain Cause Bladder/Urethral Sensitivity?

Thanks Shelley! So hoping its from the uterine/gyno issues. It just seems the timeframe of it all coincides with my pain beginning in November, etc. I'm sooooo hoping the IC isn't coming back! I was in a remission for 10+ years and don't want to deal with that after recovering from the hyster. You are a positive hope!
