Getting awfully nervous...

I haven't posted in a while...i've sort of put this entire surgery out of my mind. Well - it's not so easy is only a few weeks off.

I go to the doctor this week (thursday) to determine if my surgery will be vaginal or abdominal. It will be a T_H (fill in the blank! ).

Um...i feel like there is Sooooooooooooooooo much to do an no time to get it done! Mostly, right now, I'm trying to finish up some sewing projects and spend ample time with the kids since I won't be up for much playing...(they're 3 & 4).

Any other advice?

I am a March 7 LIW too! I spent today cleaning in preparation of my post castle visit. I don't have kids, so that is not a concern. BUT...I do have 3 dogs (chinese crested lap puppies) and a cat. They demand a certain amount of attention. My DH is ready to take care of me .

I am not nervous yet. I am looking forward to getting this over with. No more periods!!! No more pain

I can't wait to be crowned!!! lol

Getting awfully nervous...

Wendy, I'm starting to get a little nervous also. My surgery is Wednesday, 2/27 but after talking to many people who have had this done and reading many postings from this site, I'm convinced the worst part is the waiting. Soooo many women said that it isn't near as bad as you think. I had 4 children and if I can handle 4 labors and delivery, this should be a piece of cake! Ha

Also a friend of mine told me that before she went into surgery, she thought about all the children in this world who under go chemo. treatments and deal with horrible aliments daily, and if they could do it, so could she.

Just say a prayer and let GOD take it from there.

Getting awfully nervous...

I'm starting to get a little nervous too. I think I'm more nervous about having to tell my mother I'm going to be going thru this than the actual operation. As soon as I tell her she is going to have these vivions of cancer. She had cervical cancer in the 60's and had a hysterectomy and then 2 years ago my sister died of cancer (lung). Well I'm leaving work in about 30 min and I'll be stopping at her house on my way home. Wish me luck
