Re: Teallys Tourtured Tuppys

I don't each much cheese either. I'm lactose intollerant, and when I do eat cheese I make everybody intollerant ( of me) . lol. I also don't drink wine but I have enough other bad habits to make up for it, lol.
I'm not opposed to being around those who do eat cheese and drink wine though. I am also not a party pooper in anyway. Unless of course, I eat too much cheese. x
Oh I like rubarb! My mom used to grow it and make the most amazing pies and jellys. Her Rubarb and strawberry pies were the best. Mom grew a big garden, we had lots of fresh veggies and fruit.

Teally, I don't care where we go as long as it's warm and sunny.

As far as what Catherine said about the sent messages, you must only have to check the box once because I never do it and I always have a copy -- must have checked that box four years ago and haven't paid any attention to it since then.

Oh no I think I am getting a sore throat this morning. I just don't feel right and my throat is scratchy feeling. Great. My Dr app is a week from tomorrow. I hope it is just allergies. I really don't want to be sick for my app.

Is the appointment for your actual thingy? Just before mIne I started with a cold/ sore throat. I used honey and lemon. It kept it at bay so it didn't become full blown. I had 1/3 of a lemon squeezed with 2 teaspoons of honey in boiling water.I had this 2 or 3 times a day. Try it because , as I'm sure you know honey has antibiotic/antiseptic properties and the vit C helps too.

My Granny used to swear by it too. I know it's an old wives tale but even if its the placebo effect.... Who cares? x x

We've been to the vets this morning. Poor boy has a very sore shoulder. They are suspecting an arthritis type problem. He is back on anti inflammatories and rest. He has to go for X-rays on 22nd. Sadly, I fear we will be forced to retire from Agility. He's only 5 and has been snoring on the couch in a drug induced coma all afternoon. I can identify with that 😴

Re: Teallys Tourtured Tuppys

Flame, the honey and lemon works really well, it tasted good too.
Well girls, we had a really mixed kind of a day today. My mum in law has been poorly but we thought she was getting better yesterday. Her appetite has come back and she had started to eat but today was a hard day again, she hasn't eaten or drank anything today. When we came home, feeling very low, our daughter and 2 granddaughters arrived and really cheered us up. Life really turns in circles doesn't it?
Sazc, thanks for your kind thoughts
