How to have a comfy waistline postop

Just wanted to share with you sisters from the trial and error world of post op. This coming Monday I will be 6 weeks post-op TAH/BSO. Nope, I'm not one of those "slip" of a things. Just your average middle-aged, needs to shed some pounds types and 5'5" tall.

I have been really afraid of what wearing pantyhose was going to be like the first time I put them on. I had purchased some maternity pantyhose pre-op. I hadn't worn them before, but was forced to "dress" today to attend a funeral. I am here to tell you sisters that I may permanently convert to maternity pantyhose. Nope they don't bind your belly - they flex with your shape as the day goes on and, can I say this? They are down right comfortable! Am I nuts - ok, those of you who know me aren't allowed to comment.

Additionally, found out that other maternity clothes exist that don't look "maternity". They helped when I had to venture out in public before my belly went down sufficiently.
