Re: Ceremony to burn the feminine product

Lmao I love it. I just gave all mine away. I may go buy some just to burn them. I'd feel a little Divine Secrets of the yaya sisterhood.

Re: Ceremony to burn the feminine product

I've got a whole package un opened which I'm giving away but those that are loose, I may do something with. I can see the tampons with paper holders could make a nice torch.

Re: Ceremony to burn the feminine product

Please don't burn them- except for tampons without applicators (with the plastic wrapper removed) and those with cardboard applicators, all feminine products have stuff in them that would make the smoke quite toxic.... and I'm sure there's a women's shelter or teen center in your area that would be more than happy to recieve a donation of these expensive, neccessary and seldom thought of items.

Re: Ceremony to burn the feminine product

I personally agree with DeliaDeLyon. I am only destroying in one way or another those that I've had stashed in purses and elsewhere that I wouldn't feel good about giving away (scary that I have so many yet.)

I'm keeping my "strays" in a basket in my guest bathroom cupboard for the benefit of guests who may get caught without supplies.

Re: Ceremony to burn the feminine product

I have a whole box left plus little randoms and some instead cups and massive pads lol. I'm sick of looking at them. Although the burning ceremony sounds awesome, I think I'll give mine away. These things are valuable! We of all people should understand that lol

Re: Ceremony to burn the feminine product

Back in the day when the kotex pads didn't have adhesive but rather "tails" of gauze to attach them to those horrible belts, I heard that they made excellent torches at Girl Scout camp because you could just tie them around a stick and light them up. Always wanted to try that.
