My Big day

Hello Sisters,
My surgery was on February 11th. I came home on February 14th. My mother was here for two weeks helping me. My 16 yr old son was a big help also.
I will not be going back to work until April 8th. I think its very important for any hyster sister to be off work for at least six weeks, expecially if she was cut open.
I know that certain jobs dont allow that, but I think its so important.
My doctor told me that I would be off for 8 weeks, due to them finding a hernia, and me being such a bad anemic.
All the best to you sisters on your journey to recovery. It only gets better from here.
I have just started driving and it feels great.
God Bless

My Big day

Hi Dee,

Thanks for sharing your experience with the LIW - I'm glad that everything is going well for you. I know what you mean about finally being able to drive again!!

But please remember you are still healing and don't try to do too much too soon.
