A different type of question for you...

I'm sorry she didn't work out for you, Cyndy! But don't feel guilty. That just means she is supposed to find another family and that your pet is still out there looking for you. You'll find each other!

A different type of question for you...

Cyndy,

I have a pug and he was my godsend while I was recovering from my hyst. I can't relate to the chemo as I was very fortunate to not need it. But...I do have a suggestion for your dog...especially if you're thinking about getting a small breed. How about litter training it? Our pug is litter box trained. We use newspapers and then just remove them whenever he uses his box. That way if you're having a down day you don't have to worry about walking him and he can still "go" whenever he needs to. It worked out really well for us since we got our pug right before my hyst and I couldn't do steps for a month. He slept right beside me whenever I napped and then would just do his business and come right back to snuggle. Plus then if you have to be away from the house for a longer time he can still go...basically just like a cat. Just a thought! As you can tell...I'm a HUGE doggie fan! Good luck in your search for your perfect puppy soulmate. s

A different type of question for you...

Hi Cyndy,
I am sorry that the dog did not work out for you. You are certainly right, if the dog has health issues it ends up to be a real burden, not what you need right now.

This summer I bought a German Shepherd for my son and I. Knowing I was no longer able to have children I figured it would be a good idea. My 12 year old son wanted one in the worst way.
Puppies are alot of work......I think it is a good idea to adopt a dog that is a few years old, providing it has good habits. I am sure you will find one....happy searching!
Love,
Valentina
