dr's visit

i promised everyone yesterday that i would post how i did at the dr's today.

She said that my endometriosis is spreding and that in combination with the fibroids is the reason for all of the pain.

she did a vaginal ultrasound (yuck) and said that she now can see that she is going to have to do a total hyster. originally she thought that she was going to get away with a partial but after looking around she has to do to a total,

that means that i will have to take the hormone pills.

And i going to go through all tha mood swings and the hot flashes now?

I remember when my mother has her hyster. Until they got her meds regulated she was terrible.

Is that going to happen to me?

anyone that knows please let me know.

dr's visit

I have the hot flashes and insomnia, but not the mood swings (fortunatley). All women are different, but for me they started in the hospital and became progressively worse. I am almost three weeks post-op and they seem to be occurring less frequently. It is my understanding that HRT given immediately helps prevent or at least minimize this. Big hugs. Don't
