Pain with arousal

Dear sisters,
Does any one of you feel dull abdominal pain as soon as you might be getting aroused? The same pain remains after having sex. Am I the only one with this?

No you're not the only one... it's so incredibly frustrating for me as well as my DH.

*sigh* hoping it gets better after my TAH on 3/11/02.

I also had that kind of pain before I had my hyst. Now there is no pain. that was one of the reasons I finally went for the surgery. I had been putting it off for years and then it started interfering with my sex life I drew the line. Can't give that part up. It is great once again. God Bless.

You made me feel so much better. I never read anyone’s post talking about this problem. I think we are little more shy when it comes to talking about sex, but I am so frustrated with that, especially when I think that the best years of my life went by having that pain (first experience that I remember, with pain connected to sex was when I was 22, now I am 35. Do you think I remember what is the sex without pain?). Hopefully it will go away after hyst and I'll be all new, like never before.
It would feel all better if I know there was a higher purpose for it (perhaps, if I was suffering for all fertile women in the world), but knowing it’s just for the heck of it, that bothers me.

My DH has been so patient and loving, but we will BOTH be glad when surgery is over and the says I can perform my wifely duties...lol

I also had pain from sex. Not so much the actual sex part but the orgasms caused a cramping pain that lasted quite long afterwords. Sinse my hyster i no longer have these pains. I guess it was my big fat over sized uterus doing it to me
