3 days to go..........

This is the most phenomenal web site! I am soo blessed to have found it! What a better way to correspond with women who know exactly what you are going through! And are going through it even as we "type"!
My surgery is for the 15th of this month! I am also am ready for this!
HAs anyone noticed any weight gain? I am encouraged by the e-mail that stated that her stomach was flatter than it had been in a while even with the swelling? I have been secretly hoping that with my uterus gone that somehow it would go down a bit! My baby is 9 an I still have that post pregnancy "baby belly"! UGhhhh! No amount of sit ups help!
Anyway, I will keep all of you in my prayers this week! It's funny, you start to develop this sort of kin ship for ladies that you don't even know simply cause they are going through what you are!

I will be praying that your surgery goes well! After surgery, come and "hang out" in the post-op message board. I am 4 weeks post-op and still have a swollen belly but with the uterus gone it will eventually be smaller than before surgery. My uterus was enlarged to the size of a 4-5 month pregnancy prior to surgery so after the swelling finally goes down it should be more normal. I am so glad I had the surgery and this site has been a great form of encouragement.
