back from hosptial.removal of adhesions!!

Hello ladies!!
I am back as of last night after having laprascope surgery to remove adhesions. All is good now, the pains are gone, that
I was having post-op, I am just dealing with shoulder pain and getting comfortable at night. I was given percoset for pain and that helps a lot! I take 2 every 3 hrs and so far that is controlling the pain! YEA
I was very ill when I woke up in the recovery unit, and had thrown up a little bit, then nurse said I am giving you a suppository called COMPAZINE, "so roll over", and in it went!

I should be much better this Monday. I think had I not been given such wonderful encourgement, and info. I'd still be suffering with those nasty adhesions! I had a lot more adhesions than doc thought I'd have, cuz I was,"getting around so well" he says that's a good indicator that I dont have it bad, however he does'nt realize that I push myself thru the pain(s) and don't complain to anyone, not even my doc. I am personally tired of complaining about all my aches and pains, so I try to keep to myself. But I did get to the point were I was unable to do ANYTHING, without hurting badly! I tried ice skatoing for the first time the day before surgery and I was hurting so bad, I had to run out the car and take two VICODIN, just to enjoy the night, it was my DD'S 1st time ice skating too!
SORRY FOR BABBLING. I am just so darn glad I had this procedure done!! I recommend it highly!

Glad to see that your home! Now you need to and drink lots of water and walk! But i do hate to bust your bubble! I had that same surgery back in Oct. of 2001 and now i'm in pain again my dr believes my cyst and adhesions are back! I did have some painfree time and it was wonderful but now i'm going to facing another surgery because of the cyst on the adhesions! The more surgery you have the worst the adhesions get!
But i will that those nasty things are gone for you! I just wanted you to know nothing is 100% not even a laperascopy i've had 3 surgeries in less than yr working on 4!

Hi Gwen! Happy to hear that your adhesion removal went well and you're feeling better already, that's just got to be a good sign!!!

Now put those feet up and rest and recuperate or we'll all be over to give you heck!! 's!!!
