Curls, on me??????

You are right Kaatie!!! I do not mind the weirdness of my hair. I was the wigless wonder for eight months. It makes me laugh as well. I recently started walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes each day. This makes me perspire. Then the curls just pop out all over the place. So I guess at some point, I'll be complete curls. I am also thrilled to be able to feel breezes rustling through some hair. The other day I tried on a favorite baseball cap and it almost did not fit, due to hair and curls. I could probably change my signature on hystersisters to , just for the hair picture alone, if she had a smile on her face!

I did not lose my hair. I only had one dose in the form of an organ wash, which made me very sick for 3 months. Funny the things we take for granted. I liked your observation...the wind rustling through your hair. I never thought of missing that before.

A man I know that had chemo told me the thing he missed most was his eyebrows and eyelashes. He said it felt funny to blink or to see his bald face in the mirror. When he began to shave again he said he felt like 15 all over again.

And I am glad you like the 'wierdness' of your hair. I feel much happier knowing you are not stressing over it. Thanks so much for posting back to me.
