So...what are ya watchin'?

During my recovery I decided to do a free trial of Netflix and have watched all of The Walking Dead (caught up to the current season) and I am in the middle of Season 3 of Breaking Bad. I have also watched assorted cheesy kid movies with my children. I really need to take out a book! I am 2 weeks post-op and started working from home on Monday so my TV days are slowing down. What have you been watching or what books have helped the time go by?

Re: So...what are ya watchin'?

I have been watching the walking dead since it started, so I'm loving the new season. Oh what's going to happen with the governer? Sons of anarchy, two more episodes to go for this season. I'm nearly up to season three in Breaking bad.

Re: So...what are ya watchin'?

I've watched Bones, CSI, Criminal Minds and already read 3 books (House of Night Series). Don't know how long I can keep this up. 6 Days post op and I'm already going out of my mind. Thank goodness my daughter and granddaughter are coming by to visit today. The baby is almost 2 years old and I can't wait to see her. I'm sure this will tire me out, but it is better than laying around doing nothing. A friend is going to drop off a movie I wanted to see so that will use up a couple of hours.

Mad Men
Breaking Bad
House of Cards

I also had "The Wire" at home but got hooked on "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad" so sent it back. I'm really glad I don't have cable - gave me lots of TV to catch up on!

Re: So...what are ya watchin'?

Finished Breaking Bad (not for kids, but REALLY well made),
now catching up to Doctor Who (which celebrates its 50 anniversary on Saturday, so BBC America is playing a major marathon all week).

Re: So...what are ya watchin'?

Love the Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, The Good Wife, and True Blood. Of course I love lots of others but those were ones I got caught up on while laying around. I also read the first Game of Thrones, all of the Sookie Stackhouse books ( they go super fast) and all three Hunger Games. I've really enjoyed myself! Lol

Re: So...what are ya watchin'?

I'm on season 2 of x-files. Pretty little liars is quite addictive. Didn't think I would like it but during my daughters recovery from tonsillectomy, we watched all 3 seasons on Netflix
