Hi, gals. Just wanted to say thanks again for the replies you all gave me about being worried that the cancer would come back. I did take your advice and I have an appointment today for a repeat pap smear. The receptionist at the office kept questioning me why I was coming in, and I finally told her to just book the stinking appointment and I would worry about my insurance later! I know my insurance will cover it, the receptionist was just clueless.

So I hope to know something one way or another in a few days/wks.

BTW, I have tried posting several times lately and there was something messed up with my account. Seems to be cleared up now, so I will be posting more often! Thanks again!

Tanya, there is nothing like being assertive, specially with your own health. Sometimes I wonder about those receptonists

Please let me know the date of your appt and I will add it to the calendar. We like to send best wishes to you

Best of luck and keeping you in my prayers . xxx

Thanks, Robyn. Actually, I already had my appt this morning with my ob/gyn's np. I hadn't met her before, but she was great. She said everything looked great visually and that my ovaries felt fine too. She was also very understanding about my request for the pap. I will know the results in two weeks--by mail if they are okay, by phone call if they are not. Here's hoping for a letter!

Hi Tanya!

I'm so glad you asserted yourself and got that appointment, it sure can be tough sometimes.

I'll be hoping you'll be soon receiving great news (by mail of course ) and you can then go out and celebrate!

Keep us posted on what you hear and we'll all be crossing our fingers for you.

Sending good thoughts your way. Waiting is the worst part, but we are all here for you. I know when I leave the Dr.'s office, even when she says things look good, I can't wait to get the final test results in black and white.

I think the stamp is being put on that letter any minute now.
