A shout out to my old radiation buddies...

It's been a long time since I've visited here. I just wanted to drop in and say Hello. It's been a little over a year now since my hyster and I thank God for the support I received during that time. Robyn and Valentina, You are the best! I've been having my check ups every three months. I still am not using any kind of HRT. It has not always been an easy road and I still deal with issues that were left from the cancer as we all do I'm sure. Some of those are emotional and some are physical. But all in all, I feel pretty darn good.

You may remember that my husband and I were adopting. Carson has been home from Cambodia for 5 1/2 months. He is the joy of our lives. But I NEVER realized how hard being a mother was. Carson is now 10 months old and is walking and getting into everything. He also has a smile that can brighten the room and a laugh that makes you laugh along with him. We are totally in love with this little guy.

God Bless you all. My prayers are with those of you that are dealing with the various treatments and tests and those of you that are here to support them.

Love, Zoe

How wonderful to hear from you again! I hadn't realized so much time has gone by.

I'm so happy to hear you are doing so well and congratulations on the adoption!!! Carson sounds like a wonderful little guy, I'm so very happy for both of you.

Thanks so much for letting us know how you have been doing and I'm sure the others will be along shortly to give you an update as well.

Take care and keep in touch.

Hi Zoe, thank you so very much for letting us know how you are. I so worry about my friends from this board.

Carson sounds like a true angel. He certainly was sent to you both at the right time in your life xxx

I too, deal with a few side effects, I think more emotional than physical. How are you going with the dreaded dilator I sometimes read our previous posts about it and we all certainly had a sense of humour to get us through , as well as having each other.

Brenda also checked in a few weeks back and she is doing really well. Even though we all have been along a stressful road, we have all come through with flying colours and I am sure it has made us the people we are now. AND I WOULDNT CHANGE IT

Please do keep in touch . Keeping you and your family close to my heart and in my prayers. xxxx

Hi Zoe!!
So great to hear from you!! I had been wondering if you made the journey and got your darlin little bundle of joy, and indeed you did. How lucky little Carson is to have you and hubby and how lucky you both are to have him. Everything happens for a reason Zoe, and as Robyn said, the time was right when he was brought into your lives. I am soooo happy for you. Sounds as thought things are going just great for you. Take care and I hope you will pop in every now and then to let us know how you are all doing!

I just celebrated my hysterversary on the 12th, if I remember correctly you were just a few days behind.

.....and yes, there are all sorts of dwindling effects, dilator...yuck to name just ONE!
I am just so glad that all is well. Hope you can visit with us every so often, of course having an infant is quite difficult.......but we will always be here, whenever you say hello...and look forward to it.
