It is back to work for me on Monday
I am feeling a little bummed about going back to work but all this resting must come to an end. I will be 8 weeks post on Monday and I am still feeling sore at times and have the swelly belly some days more then others. This really is a long recovery, isn't it? At least my job is a great deal of sitting (a Medical Receptionist) but I was getting used to being at home. Oh, well it is back to work I go!! Take care everyone and thanks so very much for all the good advice. You have all been most helpful. Cathy

Good luck with the re-entry Cathy. Yes, it will be an adjustment going back to work.
Glad to hear you don't have a strenuous job. Try to put your feet up once in awhile and don't forget to keep up the
My understanding is, that we take 8-12 weeks to get 40% recovered and it can take 6-12 months to be completely healed.
So don't be hard on yourself that you're still having some symptoms at 8 weeks. You're doing great.
Keep in touch and let us know how you're doing. Okay?

Good Luck
Cathy
Best wishes on your return to work. Take it easy. If you are totally washed out at half day, are you able to go home? I was in the fortunate position of being able to have 10 weeks off, then return to work half days for the first week. I am now back in the full swing of working. The first full week I was dragging the chain by the end of the day, but now it is not too bad.
Regards
Gail
