IBS people....where is your pain?

I am having pain in the lower right area of my abdomin, with tenderness as well. I developed a hematoma in this same area after my hyster, and the pain is the same I experienced with the hematoma.

I guess I trying to cover all of my basis and can't really find anything decisive on the pain felt with IBS. I don't have stomach problems, only occassional diarrhea (once every 2-3 months) and no real problem with constipation.

I do have lower right side pain (dull ache) constantly, and more intense pain right before a bm. Swelly belly by the end of the day and tenderness on the outside in the same area.

Any info would be great!

IBS people....where is your pain?

Robby...

I know it is hard for me as well, to tell what pain is from the IBS...and what is from the Endo/Fibro etc! For me though, I have pain usually before during and after a BM. I go through phases when I'll have the runs, and experience flu like tummy cramps-feel very shaky and weak...so I try to keep myself as hydrated as possible. I also get constipated and that has it's own list of problems

Sorry I wasn't much help to you my dear....just thought I'd pop in and share my experiences with you and send you a

IBS people....where is your pain?

Thanks for you input!

I honestly don't think that it is IBS, but I like to explore all of my options. I don't have the flu/cramp feeling that you discribed. I too had endo, my uterus was adheared to my bladder with endo., but this pain is different, and constant!

I had a CT scan today, so hopefully that will shed some lite on all of this! And then again, maybe not :hair:

IBS people....where is your pain?

Robby,
Like Judester, at this point I am starting to have trouble disguinishing what pain is coming from where.

In the old days, pre-hyst the IBS would vary from a dull, aching crampy kind of feeling to sharp knife like pains. The pain was always around the center of my abdomen.
