Romantic evening After Release- Special Plans

Anyone have special plans after their full sexual release from Dr, that could be shared ? Dinner out ? Weekend away ? DH and I joked that, we wondered if any couple called and got a hotel room right then or danced a bit on the way out of the Dr's office ??

Seems like a great reason to do something special ! I think we want absolutely no interruptions. No calls or texts !! Business or personal.

Re: Romantic evening After Release- Special Plans

I was thinking about booking us a 4/5 star hotel and doing a nice dinner. We had a fabulous Valentines this year and I'd be up for a second one to celebrate this occasion!

Did anyone's husband do something romantic once you were released , for the evening ? Just curious if it was something special to them and you were surprised by their romance that evening ?

Re: Romantic evening After Release- Special Plans

I was thinking about the same thing! It's definitely an excuse to get away for a bit. I don't know about y'all but I'm actually going to be a little scared for the 1st time. I have been reading a lot on here about how other girls are in pain, ect afterwards.

Maybe why some women put it off a few weeks, just a little more time.

That's what I'm thinking. So I'm hoping I'm cleared on 4/1 but then I will wait another week or so.

Re: Romantic evening After Release- Special Plans

DH made comment that if my release is put off , ( which dr mentioned might happen) we had an camper trip planned with his friend and another couple, we'd just have to 'turn in early.' And they'd have to understand. Ugh maybe my attitude is wrong, but I'm thinking : I'd rather us two retreat to a nice cabin somewhere alone. Is that too teenage of me ? Great , they know I've had surgery and now we have an audience outside??? Maybe I just need a better attitude about it.

Re: Romantic evening After Release- Special Plans

Yes Tammy I have read many women wait additional time. I will be at 7 wks when my next visit happens. I'm willing to try if released, but DH said whatever I'm comfy with, so that's sweet. Maybe the first time again will be some fireworks, such a challenge for us and marriage, we have never gone this long before.
