Anyone know about clear cell carcinoma?

My friend's mom was just diagnosed with uterine cancer and clear cell carcinoma. If anyone has any info I would apppreciate it.

And if you could say a prayer for Marilyn Temschenko, I would be grateful.

Thanks sisters~

Anyone know about clear cell carcinoma?

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I will be keeping her in my prayers as well as all of you.

I found this info on clear cell carcinoma, it seems to be a specific type of cell, but can be located in different areas so is not specific to one particular part of the body.

I hope this helps.

{{hugs}} to you my friend!

Anyone know about clear cell carcinoma?

I thought I remembered that someone had had it and I found the thread:

Unfortunately the old links don't work anymore.

I'm assuming it's endometrial clear cell? It is a scary kind of cancer. It does tend to strike older women. And it tends to be aggressive. It's rare too, less than 10% of all endometrial cancers. So, it all depends on the staging, but one shouldn't always believe in the percentages, like that thread shows. She had a good experience. We'll pray for your friend too to h ave a good experience.

clear cell carcinoma

Hi Ladies! Sorry to hear about your friend's mother. Clear cell carcinoma is part of my diagnosis. It is in the vaginal wall-this is where that type of cell is. It is a pretty rare carcinoma and is linked to the female offspring of mothers who took DES (DeHyeresterol) not sure if I spelled that right- during their preganacies. I am 29 and I have been told it is linked to my mother taking this drug to prevent another premature birth. Hope this helped. The doctors refer to me as a "DES" baby. Take care and prayers.

Anyone know about clear cell carcinoma?

My friend's mom had her hyst yesterday. It is very aggressive cancer and quite pervasive. She will be starting chemo and radiation as soon as possible.

So...I am writing to ask for prayers for her.

Thanks sisters.

hey kaatie

Hope your friend's mom is hanging in there. I have heard it was aggressive, and it must be, because my cervical cancer was stageIIIA- it did go through to vaginal wall. Hoping it is not through to bladder. Your friend's is in her uterus? I know it invades other organs fast, as I was fine before the birth of my one year old- I just hope she is not elderly and can withstand all the treatment. Hugs and prayers, leslie
