Re: Foot Surgery

Yes, this thread has turned into a veritable saga. When we're ready to wrap it up, we'll have to offer a Cliff Notes version for future readers. Do you have Cliff Notes in the UK? I'm not sure we even have them here in the US anymore. We no longer offer them at the library. Kids find everything they need online these days.

Have a great day, everyone!

Re: Foot Surgery

Thinking of you lovely ladies today. I am doing good. I am in a lot more pain than I thought I would be at this point, but have learned that is life. Ice is still my best friend.

Re: Foot Surgery

Hello, Lostfemale, thinking of you right back! I'm so sorry your foot is still plaguing you. I do hope you've been able to get out and enjoy this sublime weather!

JulyLady, I hope you're well.

Wharfedale, how is your recovery going? I often think of you and wonder if time is resolving your various issues; I do sincerely hope so. Will you be vacationing in France in a few weeks, or will you skip your holiday this year?

All my best to you, dear ladies

Re: Foot Surgery

Magiepie332 wow thanks for the details of how you lived before surgery. Amazing what we go threw, and live with. Don't know if I can let it get that bad. So glad you are living your life fully.

Re: Foot Surgery

Not good yesterday....foot was swollen and hot like it was on fire...put ice on it directly and did not feel it for a while. I can't let the bottom of my pant leg touch my foot on the one side it hurts. It is like my body is tired of being in pain. I am so over being in pain. I know this has nothing to do with prolapse but I had to share, I know you all care. I was suppose to be back at work already and I want to be. I am so tired of the couch and TV. I had to complain so I can move on.
Take care ladys

Re: Foot Surgery

I feel bad for you; you must be getting so discouraged. I hope when you're finally healed you'll be dancing!

I haven't watched television in many years, but I imagine it would really put me in the dumps.

Take care, sweet friend, and know we're thinking about you.

Re: Foot Surgery

Thanks lovely sisters
I had a wonderful day so far.....I decided to put a whole patch on my foot and wrap my big toe in it too..........miracle I am not in any pain. It is not hot, I keep on checking it. Not sure if it is swollen more than it has been but will know tonight when I take off the patch at 7. I am so happy. Maybe I am on the road back...I hope. It is so wonderful to not be in
Sorry I was so down this morning but it is hard for sure.

Re: Foot surgery

Hello LostFemale. It's been a few weeks since you last updated about your foot, how is it now, and do you feel as if it was all worth while. X

Re: Foot surgery

Julylady thanks for asking. I started physical therapy today and I am very upset. The PT said I would be in pain for 6 weeks to 6 months. Still swollen. The PT showed me several different things which so far seem to have helped. I was stretching wrong too. But just trying to move forward cause there is no where else to go.
I do miss our little chats.
