PreOp nerves

I am supposed to have pre-op today. More nervous than I should be I think. My doc office always calls 2 days in advance to remind me of appt. Haven't heard anything this time. I also haven't heard whether insurance has been approved or not and I'm afraid it wasn't and no one has let me know. I've made all kinds of arrangements for this surgery on Tues. 16th and will be devastated if it doesn't happen. Maybe it's just the normal jitters prior to surgery but I'm afraid everything is going to go wrong. Please wish the best for me and pray that all is going to proceed as scheduled!!

Hi Irae

Cheer up nerves are always along with this surgery. Call that DR's office and see if you are still on for the pre-op. Call the insurance company and find out for yourself if you have been approved. I did that as I wanted to be sure. It helped ease my mind. They will also tell you how long you have been approved for to stay in the hospital. So just make some phonecalls and try to calm down a little. I know it is hard but really the waiting is the worst part. God bless. Let us know what happens with you.
