Lower back pain
I am 7 1/2 weeks post from TVH..I was a great little princess. My mother in law came up to visit last week and I did housework..And at six weeks I started to do more and laundry . just keeping my house up and I went back to work and driving everywhere..Now for the last three days my lower back hurts and my right side..where my ovary is..that area..hurts and my pelvis is sore..I mean this aches more than right after my surgery I am miserable..I thought I could go back to a normal life this far into recovery..Am I wrong? I thought I"d be completely healed inside by now..Guess I am not?? I hope that I dind't do more damage or cause adhesions to form or something and my recovery was going so wonderful I hope that this far into it I haven't messed up anything

Lower back pain
I am pre-op for a TAH. I would call your doctor first thing Monday morning unless you are in severe pain, then I would seek immediate attention. Where I live, there are numbers one can call and speak with a nurse who can give advice on what to do.
Let me know how are you are feeling. Best of luck to you and just rest rest and then rest some more.

Lower back pain
Maybe you have overdone it. Did you lift anything beyond your limit? I feel you need to call your doctor or the "on call" on Sunday. Try not to worry. Do relax with feet up until you speak with him. Alot of girls complain of hitting a wall at week 6 or 7...maybe you hit your wall and just need to regroup.
Let us know.

Lower back pain
So, there is another wall we can hit huh? I had the three week wall..I know I have overdone it Not lifted anything too heavy, but doing laundry and cooking and dishes and plus back to work, which it is n't too demanding but I am on the go from almost the time I wake up to the time I go to bed..I am sure I overdid it..I am thinking everyone thinks..well she went back to work she is fine and can be superwoman again..HA>...I am going to take it easy again a bit and not do as much as I have been doing..I know after a good nites sleep I am not hurting in my back and pelvis as bad..but still aches..

Lower back pain
Cwbysldi,
Girl....you are over doing! Divide up your duties and lay out some ground rules for help. Many of the women here have said that it can take up to a year to recover all your energy and strength. And adhesions are something you don't want back!! Let all know around you that you are going to move slower and rest more often.
Please call your Doctor on Monday. He should know from the begining that you are having pain.
Take-out tonight, right?
