The funniest part of my TAH was...

LoL, this is a classic...
I am going to do something like the smily face for my op on 13/5/02...just wondering though, would the sticky stuff on the sticker cause infection? or does the dr. use heaps of disinfectant?(silly question I know)

It's probably best to put the sticker above where they'll actually be cutting. No infection risk that way.

What a great idea -- I wish I'd thought of this before my surgery. Tee hee!

What do you think of this?

I had just read through some of the postings, went upstairs with giggles and chuckles in heart to put on my pajamas when a "moment of inspiration" hit, so I have to try it out on ya'll.

I was thinking attached to the smilie face, put a note beside it reading:

To Whom It May Concern:

Take what you need, but leave pleasure palace in tact for dear hubbie for after recovery.

Count me in!

Ok girls... I'm in on the sticker thing. My big day is May 9th.

Thanks for the best laugh I've had in WEEKS!

I can't find any stickers I like!! If anyone gets any really big smiley face stickers, I'd be willing to send a dollar for one. (I have four more weeks, so plenty of time to mail it from the continental U.S.)

I toyed with the idea of slapping on a mailing label that says "Fragile, Handle with Care." (Would an ink stamp cause problems, I wonder? Maybe if I didn't stamp right over the incision site. By the way, how low is the incision site?)

(This is just sooooo much fun!!!)

The funniest part of my TAH was...

How about a sticker saying:

"In a little while, you will know me inside out!!!"

And the Smiley sticker above it, FOR EMPHASIS!!!!

The funniest part of my TAH was...

My TAH is tomorrow and I cannot stop laughing. My dh is a doc also, and we have been going back & forth w/ ideas to use on stickers! - The gyn is a (female) friend of his, so we figure anything goes. I planned on putting a sticker just above the hairline that said"No cuts above this pont" and 2 more stickers- ahem, one inside each thigh pointing up that says "DO NOT ENTER-FORBIDDEN TERRITORY", but now I think I might use the "Do not walk on the grass" phrase-
Well all of this humor is keeping my spirits up!
Thanks Again!- I will post to this thread post op!

"The Buck Starts Here"

{all together now... *groan!*}
