This has been one of the fun parts, I promise I've done it just because my son gives me the most dastardly looks....(We have a dog that if we are swimming and don't pay attention to her she will drop her ball into the pool and then just look so innocent like "I don't know how that happened, but you need to get it for me.") As my son retrieves the dropped item he calls me by the dogs name...

NavisiaKatu , It sounds like you scared the spider so, it didn't move either!!

I've beed an airhead starting just before surgery. I wrote three checks to pay one bill just before surgery...within 4 days and no checks written in between. It seems now,I lay something down and then spend the next hour looking for it. PLEASE someone tell me it's not permanent!
From my understanding it isn't permanent. It's a combination of your hormones going nuts and the anesthesia. I put the remote control in the fridge yesterday. I compare it to a really bad case of preggo brain lol. Hopefully you get to feeling better sooon!!!

I put some wash cloths in the trash instead of the laundry. My husband came down carrying them and asking why I was throwing them out, lol

I haaaattteee spiders
I swear checking in here & finding out that it was a SPIDER = best cliff hanger story ever!

My funny today = I got stuck in the parking garage at work & couldn't figure out how to go down the ramp - kept circling around up and up and up. Finally got to the top to get back down….

My DH was all "where are you? why is it taking you so long to get here? I'm starving….." --

I kept answering the phone with, "I'm lost…really lost."

My office building is literally just across the park from his. He knew….he totally knew I had gotten lost in the parking garage.

He laughed so hard at lunch, I might have kicked him. Lightly. Under the table.

I've been keeping a long reach grabber thing handy. Today i dropped that.
My hysterectomy was June 2. I hear ya about dropping things. I actually wasn't feeling to bad and dismissed my personal care tech while I was taking my shower before returning home after surgery. While in the shower I dropped everything I took in the shower. I would pick one thing up and then something else fell. I believe there were several unladylike words the entire time in the shower. I was in a Catholic hospital I bet the Sister's toes would curl if they had heard me.

Re: The weird downfalls to having a hysterectomy/healing process - random funny stories!

Mine was while I was in the hospital room for my recovery ( same day surgery) My surgery took a bit longer than expected ,as a lot of ladies here. It was to be 90 mins turned out to be 2.5 hours. Any who I was up in recovery my DH (darling hubby) was there and my Mama and I was just coming out of it and I asked my husband if he go get me a sweet tea from 'Pals' ,a local eatery I like her in east Tn. so bless his soul out he goes, and my Mama says I'll get them to bring you a Dr. Pepper, well I gulp 3 of them down I was beyond thirsty. Nurse comes in says ' would you like something to eat ' ' Sure ' so I Picked out a chicken salad with ranch. It was pretty good...well I fell asleep in the midst of chewing; I mean my hubby said you were snoring with ranch dressing on your chin and lettuce on your lips. HOLY CRAP BOL. So I come out of my post surgery stupor/ nap while eating, and finish my meal with my sweet tea.

So the test you must pass to go home is to pee, and or poop. I was warned by my OBGYN that the pee will be blue.I thought cool. First attempt no results.I want to go home so ladies I am chugging stuff, anything to pee. Finally I called for a nurse. ' I really think I can go this time' So they usher out my brother and Dad. My DH and Mama are left in the room and the nurse comes in a different nurse a dude BIG dude, I didn't care!! as long as he can help my chubby butt up I didn't care. So there I go ,gown flapping open for God and all to see, male nurse included, he sits me down closes the door and pray for results. AHHAH I said through the door. I stand up and low and behold ....it is blue pee,I open the door and said ' hey honey give me your phone I got smurf pee in the toilet I'm Facebooking this' I don't remember saying any of this of this!!! lol But was told by my mother and hubby that I indeed fell asleep while eating and asked for a camera to take pictures of a toilet bowl of blue pee. YIKES. LOL ahh fun times on hospital pain meds!!!! I was embarrassed when I was told about this a week later.

Rofl I am directionally challenged anyways so surgery or no surgery I probably would get lost too

Just the other night my husband and I bought tickets to WWE Monday night raw that is happening December 1st here in oklahoma....I went to go check the calendar and my husband asked what I was doing. I very seriously told him I was checking to see what day of the week it would be happening....my husband just stared at me...it took me a second to realize my blunder...I slowly said "oooooh.....right....um...monday" facepalm
