One month post hysterectomy - Well hello there PMS...
I'm embarrassed to admit it but I had NO idea I would still experience PMS every month since I kept my ovaries. Has anyone else experienced extreme symptoms? What would normally be sore breasts were so bad I couldn't wear a bra for two days and honestly didn't even want a shirt or nightie touching them. What would normally have been a "period headache" was so painful I was literally throwing up for hours. Had my four week check up yesterday and my doc acted like I'm crazy... 😬

Re: Well hello there PMS... 😳
Mine was like that as well, for about four months after my surgery. For decades prior to the surgery, I would typically have a somewhat sore chest for about three days before my period started, have one night where I had trouble sleeping, and be in a lousy mood during that time.
For those four months, my chest felt like two bruises, I couldn't get my eyes to stay SHUT for that night, and I was in an absolutely unholy mood.
It did level off afterwards, though. Currently, my pre-menstrual symptoms are about what they always had been, and maybe even a little milder.
Your ovaries have been through a bit of a shock and may need some time to adjust to an altered blood supply. If it cleared up for me, it may for you as well. :-)
