I'm having a hard time understanding....

Dear Sisters,

I haven't posted in quite a while....because it seems that I am yet once again coming to terms with living in pain. I know that my problems could be a lot worse....so for that I am grateful.

I just do not understand why the docs can't/and don't seem to want to help me. I've tried to get into 3 pain clinics....all have rejected me, because they specialize in 'injuries.' I know that I will continue the search until I find the right one....but it is so tiring.

For those of you who may not be familiar with my story...here's the short form I had a LAVH/BSO 1 1/2 years ago due to Endo, severe pain...bleeding...etc. I had several laps before this, and tried other forms of therapy, but nothing was working and the Endo just kept on coming back....this is when I decided that a hyst would be the best thing. Afterall, my doc said it was a 99% cure. Boy, am I ever mad at him....I know better now.

Since my hyst., I have had one more lap where a considerable amount of active Endo was found! Since then the pain has remained/increased. My gyn does not want to do another surgery for a while yet (fear of adhesions)....so what are the options??

I also have CFS and FMS....Carpal Tunnel and IBS. The pain most days is unbearable....and I so badly need to manage it better.

I guess my dear ladies, I just needed to vent and ask for 'S I've been hibernating for a while...and I think it's time to let you all know what's been going on in my head.

I keep you all in my prayers....and thanks for listening....

{{{{Judester}}}}}I can't stand it when you post. You break my I hate that you are still in so much pain. AAAKKKKKKK, I hope your docs can hear my screams! All kidding aside, I agree with Robin. I have heard from others that yoga helps them so much especially those with CFS and even IBS. I've been thinking of trying it for my IBS. I guess it is worth a shot. Please know that I am always thinking of you and praying, too. Take care.......

Judester: Thats a real bummer that you are in so much pain- i feel for you sister. Thats too bad about the pain clinics- it must work a lot different up there than it does here. Please dont give up !!
And i know what you mean about the IBS & the Carpal tunnel. Have you tried anything to help with the CP ? I wore braces for over a year but it didnt help- eventually it got to where my hands started going numb while driving my car. Then i decided to have bi-lateral CP surgery & it was one of the best decisions i ever made. No more problems. Somethin to think about.
I do pray that you get some relief soon- lots of 's for ya !!

Hi Judester,

I am sorry that you are not feeling well. If you are still looking for pain clinics you should really try the one at Markham Rd. and Hwy. #7 that I told you about. The phone number is (905) 471-4348. The address is 5954 Highway 7 east, 2nd floor. The doctor to see is Dr. David Shulman as he is the only doctor there I believe that has experience with chronic pelvic pain for women. He is very nice, and is extremely non-judgemental.

Call your GP and see if he/she will refer you. I know you don't drive, but is there anyone that can take you to this clinic? At least get your pain under control. Then you can make decisions on what prcedures you are willing to try.

I hope you feel better soon. I hope we all do.

Sending you lots of 's. Email or call me if you want to.
