Your Opinions Needed

I'm older than you and was on the verge of menopause, so I don't know that I can really relate to your quandry. Since my uterus and ovaries were finished with me and just causing problems, I was perfectly happy to get them out! But as for the 3 weeks recovery time and one day hospital stay. I would never have been able to leave the hospital in just a day. Heck, I wasn't even drinking liquids until the next day and as for the 3 weeks recovery. I suppose if you only sit around all day anyway, three weeks would be enough. But for most people who are even slightly active and do housework and drive around and work outside the home, 3 weeks is not enough. I went back to work part time at 2 and 1/2 weeks because I had to, and would NOT recommend it. Even though my husband drove me to and from work for a month and carried all my stuff to my office everyday, I wished I could have taken the full 6 weeks my doctor was really wanting me to take.

Good luck, but if I were you, I would be seeking a second opinion on the recovery time.
