Hi wfml967,

Welcome to Hystersisters!!

There is alot of information for pre-op and post-op ladies in the drop-down menus on the main page. Just click onto the three Princesses on the upper left of this page and then scroll down toward the bottom of that page.

It is normal for you to be nervous and scared right now. Any surgery is scary and a hysterectomy is major surgery, but I have been reading and participating on this site for 8 months now and have not heard that anyone did not make it through the surgery, so please try not to worry about that, if you can.

After you have read through the hints on the main page, if you have more concerns, please come back and post them.

Good luck with your surgery.

Hi and welcome to Hyster Sisters!

When is your pre-op appt. scheduled for? You should have a list of questions to take with you to that appt. I did, and the doctors answered each one for me. All 30 or so of them!

Please read the pull down menus, they have so much information in them! I learned tons by reading them...the whole site is full of information that will answer many of your questions.

Don't be scared, you are normal and human. I had a few tears when I was filling out the castle information, it hits home then.
