Yes Kiwi - 13 days - this is the longest it has ever lasted. It lasted 12 days one time - I am so ready to get this over with, but can sympathize with you totally - hang in there and we can support each other!!!!!

Isnt that the truth... the rollercoaster of emotions.
Monday after seeing Doctor I was rather excited to get the whole thing over with.......... it was a beautiful California day, sunny, even went out afterwards and bought some pj/lounging stuff to wear around the house.
Hummm, shows I do have a tad of positive thoughts going on... cloths for afterwards = I am gonna live... lol
Then yesterday, wham............ "are you nuts? You can't do this"... etc etc etc.
Waiting for those good feelings to kick back in.

Someone told me in another post this great advice.....
"If you could snap your fingers and be one month from after the surgery date, would you choose to have this done?"

Well that was a no brainer for me.............. you betch, if I didnt have to muster all the courage I could (and still come up short)... recover etc, I'd do it.
As we all would.

We have to just remind our selves that others swear the wait is the worst part......... surely a few of the ones saying that were major basket cases before hand too, and not just logical, "its the right thing to do" types!

hang in there

And Donna.. I see we are both in Sunny California... although.. not so much today as it is raining outside over on my side of town! Guess it goes along with my mood today.

Glendora

I am in Glendora, CA (where 210 and 10 meet) so we are on the opposite sides of LA from each other... but hey... it's a big neighborhood! lol.

It can rain all it wants today... Saturday I am throwing my husband a BBQ Birthday Party and it better be sunny... I don't think Mother Nature wants to be messing with me right now! LOL!!

East Coast Sunshine

Well the sun is shining here and a beauty of a day. All the girls in my office are jealous becuase I'll be off for six weeks and won't I have a great tan!

I know we have a drought but rain will only be allowed after May 9 for the next 6 weeks during the night time hours and no clouds either.

Jo,
I can not believe you said that.. I thought I was kind of "out there" in wanting to tan while I am recovering... infact.... cuz we are all friends.......... I tell the real truth.
I have been trying to get some color this week so the day of surgery I dont look all pasty white... lol
I am natural BEYOND white......... more clear than an actual color... lol When I tan I go from clear to ivory.. (its the best I can hope for)..lol

Kiwi.......... lol about Mother Nature better not mess with you now......... eeeeeeeeek, I shutter to think!

Harriet........... hummmmmmmm dont know if the rain is tears of joy or not?..

take care
