Drove myself to the hair salon for an overdue color and cut. Wore "real" clothes too!!!

Love this thread! Great triumphs happening at all stages of recovery!

For me, 3 months out from TAH I was rushing to meet some friends and didn't even pause before I jogged from my car through a garage to not be late. Before tonight I would have been too afraid to jog but tonight my recovering body never crossed my mind!

I love building up to the day that this surgery and recovery are not crossing my mind regularly - I want more moments where I just "do" like I did before surgery! Today was a great start!

Thanks for making this uplifting post! You all are so awesome and encouraging! My triumph WILL be that I get out of the house, even though I just don't feel like it! I will get out for a bit of fresh air and sunshine..

What a bunch of triumphant sisters we all are! Today i went for a lovely hike in the woods with DH and then i drove home!

Two days in a row I was out of the house doing errands, four hours each. Starting to feel normal again!

Trimmed rose bushes, walked at park with DH , added one more cul de sac to morning walk! Yesterday was a pretty good day.

I went and had my hair done too & been up in my chair for a few hours , but pain is starting to set in so bedtime for me soon....lol.
