Re: What's your triumph today?

I was thrilled when my lifting restriction of 5 pounds was removed at the 6 week mark. It is surprising how little you can lift with that restriction. I tried more a couple of times and was in major pain. It was a wonderful feeling when I could lift again.

Re: What's your triumph today?

I am encouraged by everyone - thank you for sharing!

I am 2 weeks post-op. I spent all day cooking on Weds and was totally exhausted all day yesterday. But I didn't let that keep me down. Today I walked over 1/2 mile, including hills. My goals are to get up and get dressed every day, walk every day, and fight back the urge to over-do it!

I have to remember to heal one day at a time!

Re: What's your triumph today?

I got halfway through making a chocolate pie for my husband, but then he had to rescue me.
That's okay it was a triumph nonetheless. I felt like I accomplished something for someone else besides my sore belly. Yay God!

Re: What's your triumph today?

I made breakfast for my husband and son . Had to rest afterwards, but I felt like I accomplished something, which is something I haven't felt a since surgery.

I walked one of my pre-op routes in my pre-op time!
AND I ran errands in the afternoon instead of taking a nap!!!
