I Complained This A.M. About Yesterday

I told the "patient representatives" about what happened and said the nurse was very wonderful but... About an hour later I got a call back and I have a 10 a.m. appointment Monday with the doctor to try again. I got to thinking last night--it is very unfair to me to be playing doctor or nurse roulette on this--just take whoever's available when Dr. God #2 (Dr. God #1 was/is the fired cardiologist) leaves and doesn't communicate and leaves patients sitting and hope they know what to ask that he, as the surgeon, would ask and route the chart/findings to him. Also, I tried oncology but they are very reluctant to do paps/pelvics as they basically don't. I updated and said since I come in in early June I would tell them if I actually saw Dr. God #2 and what he wants for scheduling. I don't want to switch--NONE of these here are gyn/oncs--so it'd be to an unknown quality of gyn. Anyway, thanks for the vent yesterday and before I read the posts I had taken advice: I had a bubble bath with the Bath & Body Country Apple, spritzed on some Apple body splash and THIS after I went to Dairy Queen for the new Chocolate Extreme blizzard! Hey--do we know how to unwind or do we know how to unwind? Ellen

Hi Ellen

I am a bit confused!! (doesn't take much) Do you still have the appt to see the gyn Monday at ten am? I love reading your posts. If the appt still stands, I certainly hope all goes well. Now I need to head to Dairy Queen and check out that new blizzard. Have you ever tried the Reese's peanut butter cup sundaes at Friendly's? That are just the best.

Margaret....let me understand...you took our advice before you read it? Did you take our advice a 2nd time then? Two of those blizzard things sure sound better than just one.

Hope all goes well on Monday. Please keep us posted about the outcome. I would be interested to know if the Dr. has any explanation or apology. Glad you calmed down, sweetie. I know these things are frustrating, but it's really not worth our hard won serenity. Course, it's always a good excuse for chocolate.
