I've been on it for almost 4 1/2 months now. It took a while to stop the bleeding, and the pain end I'm still skeptical on (it's a *little* better). Everyone's different when using it though.

Hi Gustogal,
Yes, the Lupron did an excellent job shrinking the large fibroid. It was amazing how I could actually feel how much smaller it was after just one month. My doctor was thrilled with that and said that's exactly what he wanted to see happen. As for the side effects, the only thing I had were the hot flashes. That was it! Other than that, I was absolutely fine! The flashes weren't that bad - just annoying - but they were nothing my beloved air-conditioners couldn't handle LOL

Hot flashes I think I can handle, although we don't have air conditioning ( I live very near the water in the SF Bay Area, and we don't need it much). Thanks for the tips --- I'll be looking forward to sharing my "experiences" with other LIH! As far as I'm concerned, all the women on this site are s!!!!
