My Story

Welcome home..isnt it amazing how wonderful you feel afterwards? I had my LAVH/BSO on 4-16, cathetor out before I even knew I had it, yes, the pain meds in the IV were heaven, had the IV out next morning, up and walking around one hour after surgery and home the next night after dinner! I am now 9 days post op and honestly cannot tell I had the surgery....little tender around the four small incisions, but no pain meds in days and feeling better emotionally than I have in years! Never could have imagined how wonderful it would be to get my crown!

So Wonderful

You all are awesome! Thanks or the replies and well wishes. I sit here this morning.. paying for not waking up last night to take my Motrin. OYE!!!! I didn't think that Motrin was helping a lot till now.. oh the pain. Actually, I think most the pain I am feeling is actually

Discharge paperwork said to call in ASAP to L&D if I ran a fever of 100.6 or higher.. well, woke this morning to it reading 100.6 I know.. I am suppose to be calling them right now, but since I was all bundled up in blankets, I am giving the temp 30 minutes to go down. If it doesn't go down, I am calling.. and dh aka pillow poilice will make sure I do it too. If I don't call, he will!

Will keep ya posted.

s (gentle ones)

Oh yes the GAS

The is the worst, that is really all I felt after the next day, it feels much better once it started letting loose. And it is very uncomfortable, but it is much better now.

Like they say gas-x is the best!

Ahh but the fatique and crabbiness is gone!
