Pineapple anyone????

This may sound crazy but I have heard that if one week before surgeries...you eat pinapple...it will reduce inflamation and swelling and helps you heal faster! I love pineapple anyway so i guess it wont hurt. Let me know if any of you have heard this too.

clean system

Pineapple has LOTS of fiber so it will help clean the system... add some coconut and you got yourself a natural enema!!

Pineapple anyone????

Hi Imichele, I don't know if it helps you heal faster, but I did eat fresh pineapple post op along with drinking pineapple juice (can you tell I love pineapple?!). I made sure I ate fresh fruits and veggies and had no problems with constipation post op. I also took a stool softener, so that helped too. Eating healthy post op will help keep your digestive system in shape. Good luck to you.

Pineapple anyone????

ooh...ooh..and it has to be fresh pineapple from Hawaii, so you have to take a trip over to Hawaii to get it...yeah..that's gotta be right.

Seriously, I've never heard of that, but it tastes good and is fruit, so it should be good for ya!

Cheers,
Alisa
