Getting Nervous

My Doctors office just called and said the insurance company gave the go ahead for my hysterectomy...now it really seems real...3 weeks today...I am excited and starting to get really nervous...I am so tired...I know the endo is back...it is so draining...I just want to sleep the next 3 weeks away...

girl! It will be okay, the waiting is the worst part. And you know what? We're here for you supporting you and keeping you company while you wait.

I hope you get some relief from your pain, though. Ask your doctor what you can and cannot take. Remember to ask him about any drugs you cannot take before surgery as some are considered bad as they can thin your blood.

Getting Nervous

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to the castle. The waiting is absolutely the hardest part. You just want to get things moving and get on with the rest of our life.

Try to rest as much as you can beforehand so you can be strong for surgery. The three weeks will go by quickly - I had just over three weeks between my decision and the actual date. It was easy to fill the time with preparation, arrangements, etc. The next thing I knew I was in recovery!

All the best to you!
