Back ache anyone?

Hi Liz, Have you tried flipping you mattress. Get DH to do it for you. I had mine flipped a few weeks after my surgery when my lower back pain started again and it did a world of wonders.

Constipation may also be a major problem. My 10 yrs old was at home with me for two days nausea, back pain, could not go to bathroom for two days I gave him some warm prune and apple juice, they gave it to me in the hospital and it help.

take care

Back Ache Anyone

I was soo happy to see someone else suffering from back aches as this is my chief complaint! (you see... misery does love company!)

I had my annual on 4/20 and the sonograms on 4/23 when they diagnosed me with a 4 centimeter dermoid on my left ovary and a fibroid the size of an orange. Since they were groping around inside I have had the worst nagging pain in my lower back and left side accompanied by frequent more intense pain on the left side (near hip)

I have had this pain for the last year and it has just gotten worse as time went on.... I've been to a chiropractor and was considering a specialist wheh this was diagnosed- I didn't put 2+2 together though until I got home and I don't have an appointment with the surgeon until 5/20. Aside from the pain I also feel like I'm "full" and have what feels like mild menstrual cramps all the time.

Well, thanks for letting me vent! I'm at work right now taking a break and I can't wait to go home to lie down! (aren't I the whiner!)

Liz- Looking forward to hear how everything works out for you! I'll say a prayer, Clarissa

feeling "full"

Well, thanks for all the input. The "full" feeling is back and I am now running to the bathroom when the pressure in my bowels exceeds tolerance limits. All I can say is, I am glad I don't have a bowel blockage! (Knock on wood! )

Still eating horse-food. Doesn't seem to help. I think the adhesions all over my bowels are doing their work.

I can't wait until this is all over with!
